Eureka!

A broad sea fan spreads across the reef, its pale branching surface standing out against blue water. The eye follows its intricate pattern from the central growth into a fine network of edges. Craig called this underwater photograph Eureka! when the image resurfaced during the organization of his archive. The title suits both discoveries: the marine form encountered through the camera, and the pleasure of finding a photograph again after it had temporarily gone missing.
