Irish Harbor Revisited

At low tide on Ireland's west coast, pale fractured rock, dark seaweed and small pools replace the expected open sweep of water. For Craig, this coastal photograph belongs to memories of a family holiday with very young children and welcoming bed-and-breakfast hosts. He recalls recognizing the harbor again on a much later visit. The image carries that possibility of return: an ordinary stretch of shoreline becoming a place that memory can find decades afterward.
